Does anyone know of a Technics CD player that had song memory, or song "resume" - where it would resume playing a CD after being turned off at the point where you turned the unit off? I'm looking or a Technics player from the 80s/90s that has this feature.

I have a number of portable diskman cd players that do that from various manufacturers. I use one on my garage workshop stereo system as I go in and out of it frequently and I can just turn off the cd player when I leave and turn it back on when I rerurn and it continues where I left off.

Wow, interesting, I did not know any portable CD players had that feature. I've got a couple - a Sony and an RCA branded one, but neither have a resume feature.

I've found a number of Pioneer players from the early 1990's have a "music memory" feature, all CD "magazine" style players: PD-M95, PD-M750, PD-M650, PD-M901, PD-DM902, PD-DM802, PD-TM1, PD-TM2, and PD-TM3.

All of those also have remote volume control with volume memory; all nice features. A number of Technics players had remote volume control, but I haven't seen one that has a "music memory" or "music resume" feature. Also, all of the DVD players I've had or have (mostly Sony) have music resume for CD's.

My previous CD player - Sharp brand, forgot the model. Black face, 90s - had that feature. When it expired I replaced it with a New Rotel CD-11 Tribute. I was surprised and somewhat bummed to discover that it did not.
Cheers................................Todd
