Technics question Wood or no wood?

I am looking to expand into a vintage Technics receiver. I had a SA 202 as a kid, but now want a SA 5760 or SA 5560.

My question is; were the cover made of wood or is it vinyl? Is there any real wood on the Technics like on the Pioneers?

I own an SA-5760 and SA-700. The sides and tops are covered with vinyl. I'm talking to a friend about making wood casings, I'm not sure if I'll bother. The SA-700 still looks good and the SA-5760 is in mint condition.
