I recently purchased a technics RS 631 tape deck off eBay. The unit is overall very clean, it powers on the tape plays, vu meters power up but don't move and I'm not getting audio playback. I was looking into some basics and I noticed I have no fuse board on this tape deck. I was wondering if anyone has seen this. The transformer is there and its wired directly to the board. Was this a factory set up or did I end up buying a unit that's been modified and is missing the fuse board?
