Hello. I need help with a Technics rs bx707 cassette deck. The tape recorder works and plays perfectly, but unfortunately it suddenly stopped recording. Instead of an input signal, it records a sinusoidal signal with a frequency of approximately 5 kHz. the recording level can be adjusted. When switching the through channel to the “resources” mode, the same 5 kHz signal is heard in the speakers.
