This is my first time posting to the forums ever! I am kind of newer to this stuff, came into possession of a couple components and speakers a bit ago and just bought more stuff today.
I bought a Technics tape deck today, it plays tapes really well but it doesn't properly rewind or fast forward. And the right side Deck won't play tapes for very long before kicking off.
I believe it's all belt problems because the guy at the shop I bought it from said most of the decks in that section of the store need belts. I just wanted to consult the forums as to what I should do as I've never repaired any equipment and I really love this tape deck and want to fix it up.
