Technics sa-424 is a good receiver?

I am interested in a Technics sa-424 receiver, I would like to know your opinion about this receiver and where I can find a free instruction manual on the internet. There is no instruction manual on hifiengine.

The device that is for sale is in very good aesthetic and functional condition. I can't find the instruction manual online.
 
By the early 80's, many mainstream receiver manufacturers were making them with propietary parts that are sometimes hard or impossible to find. Not sure about Technics (I had a mid 70's Technics myself). Something to consider if a 40 year old receiver fails...are parts available?
 
Hifiengine is free and safe (they won't spam you) if you can manage to get registered. There have been some reported issues lately with registration and downloading. NOTE--hfe does not work well with VPN's and possibly ad blocking programs.
