Technics SA-600 Left Cassette Channel Issue

I've had a Technics SA-600 receiver for a few years now and it sounds fantastic paired with my Klipsch KG4s. However, the left cassette channel isn't working properly; it's not producing any sound aside from a low hiss. The left channel works fine when in Phono, AM/FM, and Aux. Could it be possible that the cassette deck (Technics M205) is the issue or is it possible for a channel to go out for a specific input? Thanks in advance!

I tested it on my SA-400 and the left Tape 1 channel worked, so I went back and hooked it back up to the SA-600 and checked it on the Tape 2 instead of Tape 1 and it works perfectly fine, so it must be the Tape 1 channel that's damaged. Not a big deal since I only have one cassette deck hooked up.

You'll need to spend some time cleaning the switches. Here's a good thread on the topic from right here at AK.
