Technics SB-A70 Speakers - Driver Sizes

Hello everyone,

First time poster here! I'm sorry if this is the incorrect area to be posting questions, but I'm hitting dead ends and need some help.

I purchased a pair of SB-A70 Technics last summer from someone who wasn't honest about their operating condition. I connected them up (two weeks after purchase, by this time the guy had already left town) and found only the 15's worked, mids and tweets were completely silent. Due to lack of time to troubleshoot myself I decided to take them to a well known audio shop in my area to have them looked at, thinking perhaps it was the crossover that had been damaged. Three months later the speakers are still not done but I'm bringing them home anyway. The original mids and tweets are now apparently missing from the enclosures - so I have no idea what size they are. Searching Google brings up next to nothing about these speakers. Does anyone know the sizes of the mids and tweeters for these speakers? I'm going to end up ordering from Parts Express - most likely Dayton Audio Designer drivers. Should have the drivers in three days.....

I'd be VERY unhappy with whoever you took them to.
Have they offered any sort of compensation, or even an apology?

Oh believe me I'm pretty unhappy. I'm trying to keep a cool head, sometimes I'm known for flying off. I'm picking them up at the end of this week after I return from a work trip.
