Hello, I own a Technics SE-C01 with the rest of the set(SU, ST). The problem is that when I turn the volume up the sound cuts, goes off, and after a few seconds it goes on again. This happen when the amp is giving between 5 and 10 watts / 8 ohms. This shouldn't happen as the amp it's supposed to give up to 42 watts per channel.

Why do guys think this is happening?

There's a file attached to this thread with the schematic diagram of the amp.

Either protect circuit issue, or the fault is in the power supply box..... Test it under load and measure rail voltages.....
 
It sounds like the protection circuit is kicking in for some reason.

Check your speaker wiring and make sure a stray strand or two are not causing a short.

You might want to try a different pair of speakers as well. A shorted component in the crossover or driver going bad can cause the protection circuit to activate.

I tried with another pair of speakers but the problem persists so it must be the amplifier.
 
Is there any "clicking" sound when the sound cuts in/out ?

Have you downloaded the service manual and checked the bias and DC offset ?

It looks like the speaker relay and protection circuit are in the lower left of the schematic, there may be a bad component or relay in the protection circuit.

When the sound cuts out there's like a kick sound(like a drum kick)

Do you know where can I download the service manual?

I don't know much about audio yet so I don't know what the bias and dc offset is. When I get home I'll check search, check it and let you know.
