Hey everyone,
I'm hoping someone here might be able to offer some guidance. I recently acquired a Technics SH-GE70 graphic equalizer, but I'm having an issue with it – it's completely dead, no power whatsoever.
I've checked the basics:
* The power cable is securely plugged into both the unit and the wall outlet.
* I've tried different power outlets to rule out a faulty outlet.
I know my way around a multimeter and have already done some preliminary checks. Specifically, I've tested transistors Q701 and Q702, and they both appear to be fine.
Any suggestions on where to start looking internally (e.g., other specific components to check, common failure points in the power supply section of these units) would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
