Technics SL-1200MK2 cable replacement

I purchase a Technics SL1200MK2 Turntable last year. I recently upgraded my phono amp as i didn't like the vintage amp anymore. Once i pass 9, volume wise (think clock dial), i get humming noise. I'm getting my amp replaced, but i also want to replace the RCA cable for the TT. Can you experts kindly tell me if I can buy the RCA cable and the ground wire separately or do they come in as 1 piece? While i'm at it, I want to change the belt as well for the TT. Can you guys guide me? I'm fairly new w/ this cable change topic... Help!

No belts in the 1200 ll table, it’s direct drive.

In order to rewire your 1200MKII cables, you need to access the little PCB under the arm.
And do some soldering work. Very basic stuff. 100% beginner-friendly.

In my opinion, if you'll the DIY route, you might as well fit it with RCA female connectors tucked neatly underneath.
Like they did with newer Technics turntables (i.e. SL-1200G).
So you are free to use it with any interconnecting cables you prefer.

I recently did the same with my SL-1200MKII and it works great.
Might post a few pics here so you get an idea of what It's about.

Put RCA jacks on the back. I've done that with all of my Technics (and other) decks.
