Technics SL 1400 MKII plastic Part needed.

Picked apart my Technics SL 1400 MKII to see which plastic cam my turntable has for the cuing mechanism so I can order the 3D part from Shapeway to finally fix the cuing issue. My hands are shaky and I don't want to use the deck without cuing. Took the cam out and turns out I have the variant with the bushing with knurling on the outside. Went over to Shapeways.com, added it to the cart and proceeded to check out only to find out that the site is down and has been down for several days now. Then I found out that Shapeways declared bankruptcy, so I'm screwed. I like this deck and it would be a shame to junk it. The cam broke into two pieces when I was trying to tie it up with wire. I was hoping to salvage the old part but alas. Anyone know how I can get hold of the guy that's selling this on Shapeway? I tried contacting him on shapeway but like I said, the site is down. If anyone has a solution do let me know please, I am desperate! Also, these two washers/shims fell out while I was working on the head shell assembly. I have no clue where they came out of and what's their purpose is. I didn't unscrew anything else other than to get to the plastic cam. Any ideas where these belong?

Hope you can find the parts needed to fix the table, but your title is misleading. Seems the company went out of business before you had any transactions with them. More like ‘Lost opportunity to get parts to fix the table‘ as opposed to they took your money and disappeared.

Months ago when doing research about the cuing issue, I found the part on Shapeway and saved it in my bookmarks so that I could refer back to it when I'm ready to order the part. I have since been doing a lot of reading, researching about this deck and all for nothing. I had high hopes for this deck, so yeah shapeway kinda screwed me, lol.
 
you slept on the part and now it's no longer available. I'm not seeing how you got screwed, apart from a self-own.

No, they did not "Screw you" since you never gave them any money and they don't even know who you are.
I corrected your title to indicate that you want some plastic piece, which seems to be your real issue,
rather than you slandering some small company on the AK webpages. Accuracy matters.
Want help? Be nice, rather than coming off angry, ok?

kabusa.com knows a lot about Technics. They specialize in the 1200, but if nothing else they may be able to point you in the right direction.

Maybe with the recommendation of KAB contact you can get the table working right or find a new source for the part.

The edit by the mod...since parts requests are not allowed in the open forums and should be posted in Barter Town the $25/year subscriber benefit among others, I would look at the title change as a nice step by Heather. It is more directly pointing out what you want as opposed to whatever she said about your original title.
 
Moving on, there are other 3D printing services or places where files can be downloaded and individuals can print or have them printed. Someone might have the file. Thingiverse maybe? I'm a neophyte in 3D (in more ways than one! ;) ) but there might be a solution.
 
I picked up a 1400 MK2 several months ago before I knew Sways went belly up. The lift has either never broke or was repaired luckily. I have done several 1300 MK2's, and I love that it is full auto, with the Sways part. But sad to say I'll never buy one again if it was not already been replaced.
 
Thanks for the suggestion. I contacted Kevin from kabusa.com and he does have one, but it's the OEM part and it's broken from the seam just like mine before I snapped it in two. I snapped it in two while trying to epoxy it and tie it up together with wire. Hoping I'll have more luck with the "new" one from Kevin.
 
Sorry, but in my original post I mentioned that the washers/shims fell off of the head shell assembly. No, they came off of the tonearm base assembly while I was trying to get to the part. I found them resting on the foam platform I set up. Here's a picture with arrows of the screws and a nut that I took out. The one with the red arrow has another matching screw on the same plate hidden, but which is on the second photo with the flathead screwdriver pointing to it. I did not completely take out the plate with the red arrow. I had enough space to work with the plastic cam and the cueing piston, and I was careful with the tonearm wires. And a pic of the top view of the tonearm assembly.
