Technics SL-1500 Mat

Hey all,
I purchased a Technics SL-1500 turntable for listening purposes, but the owner before me had a different idea in mind. He threw away the original rubber mat that dampens the platter and put a cheap felt mat on it.

I've heard that the original rubber mat (with maybe a cork mat on top) is the best way to go for this specific table, but I cannot find one ANYWHERE. If I were to buy a rubber mat for an SL-1200, would it fit on this table?

SL-1200 matt fits just fine...

I use both the original rubber with a thin Technics felt mat on top of it. Works fine.

I tossed the rubber mat on my 1510, an Audio Technica felt mat made the tables sound warmer. Especially noticed in the vocals. This may be cartridge specific. Still have the mat, but it sits on an SL-23 now.
