Hello group, I have a SL1500c that is not turning on. When I connect the power cable and press the On button, the 33 rpm blinks and fades off.
Looking at the service manual I should have 25vdc between pin 3 and 5 of the SMPS pcb. When I connect it to the power outlet it show some voltage close to 25 but quickly starts decreasing.
The service manual advise for a total replacement of the SMPS board, but I’ve been trying to study the circuit and fix it. Already replaced the AC fuse, measured all the HOT side of the board which seems ok.
I’m thinking the switching IC might be the culprit but I’m not sure. Already replaced the transistor connected to the transformer and got the same result.
Does anyone know where I can find which IC it uses, so I can try to replace it? I can’t read the marking on top of it, doesn’t seem scratched, but seems like there is a layer of resin on top of it.
