Looking for Technics SL-1600 turntable Owner's Manual and Service Manual in any format. Already checked the usual suspects but didn't see them. Please note... this is for the SL-1600 and not the later SL-1600 Mk II

Anyone know of a source?

I know I got a PDF owner's manual from Vinyl Engine for my brother for his SL-1600; try the one for the SL-1610 which is pretty much the same turntable as the SL-1610 (except for colour and perhaps power voltage).
 
Look carefully. The owners manual is at vinylengine.com. Under SL-1600 first it lists the MK2 brochure and owners manual, then the next ones are the original 1600 manuals for English and French. But you're right--no service manual.
 
Right you are (and kermit z). Thanks :-) I missed that. That will help me get my "new" T.T. set up.

Yep, I was interested in joining but looks like they have locked out the site completely to new member. If you remember your user ID you can probably still use the "remember password" feature to log in. I did find the service manual and operating instructions elsewhere.
