Hoping for some help with this Technics table. I recently tuned it up for a client who then proceeded to drop the table while moving it. At first, they thought the cueing wasn't working but the cueing system seems fine. The problem is even with the cue down and the counterweight all the way forward and no anti-skate enabled the tonearm still hovers above the record and will slowly move back towards the rest. I checked underneath the table and the anti-skate is functioning and not stuck at a value higher than 0. I didn't see any other obvious issues under the table.
Anyone have any idea what is happening here? Tonearm bearing screws and everything look fine.
