Technics SL-B2 vs Pioneer PL-112D

I am planning to hook an AT-VM95E cartridge on one of them.

Both of them are belt-drive, I've tried looking online but can't really figure out which one is higher quality.

The Technics SL-B2 is €50 and the Pioneer PL-12D is €100.

I currently have a Dual 616Q that malfunctioned. Would these be an upgrade from what I have?

They are all good basic turntables. The Dual has the nicest tonearm but the others if set up properly can sound just as good

Don't really think either would be an upgrade to the Dual.

My vote's for the Pioneer, but I like simplicity. It looks like it'd be easy to work on, with no auto or semi-auto stuff to worry about going wonky after all these decades.

My vote is for the Dual then the Pioneer. However the best one will be the one that is working perfeclty and in the best shape.

I just found another option which would be a Sony PS-212A direct drive in good condition for €50. Should I pull the trigger?

So, what's wrong with the Dual? Maybe it's an easy fix. The Dual tonearm will track just about anything.

The other turntables are all respectable but not great.
