Hello there, got myself an SL-D3 for like $8 from the junk pile at the local used store, and spent $8 more on a head with an AT10G cart.
The title basically says it all, connected it to power, the strobe lights up, but no movement from the platter at any speed setting or record size, the automatic tonearm works and plays sound (probably because it's mechanical) if I spin the platter by hand.
Did some attempts to remedy the problem myself by soaking the speed switch, bias adjustment dial, and speed adjustment pots with contact spray. Also applied a bit of lithium grease to the shaft, but nothing helped.
Would appreciate any help with this, can't really do any electronic measurements since I don't have a scope or a multimeter, just a soldering iron.
