Technics SL-D500 or SL-D2?

Hello AK Family!

Thankfully with good luck I was able to obtain both of these tables (fully functional) at a good deal. I wanted to ask those who know far more which one I should make my "go to" while the other will be a back-up?

To answer the next possible question

SL-D500 has a Shure LTP-2 Cartridge

SL-D2 has a AT12E

I’m kind of partial to the SL- D2. Reason being it’s easier to change out cartridges. Also it’s pretty bulletproof..I picked one up awhile back for my daughter.
