Technics SL DL1 right channel out?

A friend gave me a Technics SL DL1 to look at for him. the Right channel has no output. I checked the continuity of the hot and ground tone arm wires from the arm to the RCA plugs and its all fine. I dont have a schematic for it so I am not sure if the signal path does anything "special" when its powered up. I did the continuity test with it off. Maybe its the Cart?

What would you guys recommend me to look at next?

If it is not the cart check if this one has a muting switch.

you could try swapping left and right wires at the cart.

No Muting switch and its a P-mount cart so I cant swap any leads since there aren't any, it just plugs in. Thanks
