Technics SL Q6 - Looking for rivets

Hello,

i have found a nice vintage programmable Technics SL Q6. My very first TT. I like its "space-age" design and it plays well too. But unfortunatelly i need to find two pairs of rivets holding the tonearm mechanism fixed to the side panels of the lid. I need to replace all of them.
The rivets are depicted (inside the red rectangle) on the attached picture. The same parts were used on more types of square Technics TTs such as SL Q5 and on some more types. Please does anybody know where to find them??
I ´d like to restore this interesting TT to an original condition.

You may have to improvise. Without the benefit of seeing the turntable, I can't say for certain but you may be able to substitute a sheet metal screw or a pop rivet for the missing rivets.

Check at your local auto parts store for plastic rivets that might be used to fasten some plastic auto body parts together.

Thank you very much for all replies and suggestions! I will take the rivet to car parts dealer to check it there. Good idea!
The depicted rivet is the only one i have, the other one is missing. And this one has shrunk a bit over the time and is bit loose when inside the side panel.

I doubt if you will have any luck at the auto parts store. Those Technics rivets are much smaller than any used in cars.
I have successfully used small sheet metal screws when the original Technics rivets were too buggered up to reuse. Or you could tap the inner hole and use small machine screws. I wouldn't use pop rivets as you would have to drill them out if you ever wanted to remove them.

I know the rivets you are referring to. I had to pull mine to replace a belt.

I've got some black ones you can have. Post the diameter and length of yours and I will see if they are the same.

Those are plastic rivets that are used for pivoting connections. You might try the fastener section at ACE hardware. They are the push together style (like with your fingers).

The rivet (joint) is 1,1cm long and 3mm in diameter. The other plastic part seems to be there just for decoration, not important for functioning.
I think i will take the rivet to local biggest hardware shop to see what they have.
