Technics SL-V5 Output issue

Hi the AK community , i'm joining you with a really good Technics SL-V5 , in an amazing condition. But once arrived at home, after setting it ; just realised that the Right Channel Output is weak. The Left one is amazing, by the way. I tried to find the manual to follow some instructions in a troubleshooting part ; but it didn't really help. I found the electric schema but not so brave to open it. I still can try to open and do some tests but i may need some advices before sending it to a pro. Thanks in advance, regards. Sam

That is a rare one for sure. Congratulations. As for your problem I would first remove the cartridge and clean the pins. I would also clean the sockets and the rca out cable connectors too. Use some contact cleaner, q tips and maybe a tooth pick gently for the socket. Also, make sure the stylus is completely seated in the cartridge body.

Welcome to AK.
