Technics sl1210mk2 with ortofon concorde

Hi i have Technics sl1210mk2 in mint condition,now is original stanton catriage i want to upgrade it to ortofon concorde.Im wondering which model is the best for Hifi listening.I listen only rock music.

You want the Concorde Music Bronze. Give it about 40 hours to break in. The Blue is also quite good, but the Bronze, with more detail, sounds better.

I concur: I have a Concorde MUSIC bronze on my new SL-1300G (and previously had it on my SL-1200GR2). It is a wonderful sounding cartridge with deep bass a sweet top end and only needs 1.8 grams of VTF. Ensure you get the MUSIC version, not the DJ Concorde that uses 5 grams of VTF. The Music carts are made for Technics tables using the Stevenson alignment and all you have to do is balance the arm and set the VTF.

I bought an SL-1210GR-2 (black version) with a Concorde Elite Bronze cartridge and it does indeed sound excellent!
