I have been working on a Technics SL7 that is largely doing everything well. I can't figure out the issue with the auto set down and speed feature. Arm belt has been replaced, rail re-lubed, speed is dead on, cartridge advances, 0.72 on VR302, plays lps fine. When I put a 45rpm 7" on it won't recognize it and it does not auto shift to 45 speed. When I set the arm sensor shutter down to 7" on the lid it spins and stops. Almost the same for 10" setting but it keeps spinning and I could advance the needle over to play a 7inch. When I replaced the belt I saw nothing on the sensor parts that would obstruct them, and the led bulbs in the platter are lit. The auto size sensor is not doing its thing and I am not sure what to address here. Any tips?
