Im trying to bring my amp back to life but i have a power transister shorted internally. I cant find the original TO3 transisters to replace the matched pair with. Does anyone know which ones to use for replacing the 2SC1667Q and 2SC1667R transister pair. I dont know how to find the appropriate NTE equivalent.

Be sure to check the emitter resistors and the driver and pre driver transistors. Usually a shorted power transistor will take out a few of these upstream so don't just replace the shorted transistor or it might go up in smoke also.
