Technics SU-V303 vs. something else

Hi, I'm new to AudioKarma and hi-fi audio in general. I would like to apologize in advance for my total ignorance about the subject (and being off topic in my introduction).

I recently had a chance to listen to a hi-fi system made up of Technics components from the mid-1990s (apparently known as the BPC era around here) and I came out somewhat impressed. I decided to buy a cassette deck, so I bought a Technics RS-TR474M2 for $20 and connected it to my PC through line-in. I currently have Logitech X-530 speakers (which are actually quite decent). However, I now want to buy a used amp+speakers in order to improve sound quality, but my budget is limited.

I've been looking at this amp:
Technics SU-V303, there's a video of it in action in the link

And these speakers:
JAMO bookshelf, seems suitable for the amp at 45W
JAMO 2, 60W
MEL 40(?), same seller as the amp, potential problem is that they are 4 ohm
Technics SB-F66
Technics SB-CS 5, these ones seem the best
(400kn is about $70)

So, here are my questions:
1. Will I feel an upgrade from my current Logitech speakers or am I just wasting my money (and your time)?
2. Is the amp good for the price or should I go for something entirely different?
3. Which speakers from the ones I listed are the best/which ones should I consider?
4. Is it worth it to buy a separate CD player (because of a better DAC) or should I just play CDs through my PC (I have integrated Realtek audio)?

Sorry for the long post and thank you for your time.

Definitely. Undoubtedly.

Decent little entry-level amp from Technics. Can't go wrong with it, but don't expect too much from it as well.
3. Which speakers from the ones I listed are the best/which ones should I consider?
Quality-wise, they're all comparable, although I personally would avoid the SB-F66. I won't give recommendations there; just listen to them and decide on your own which pair you like most (if you can compare).
4. Is it worth it to buy a separate CD player (because of a better DAC) or should I just play CDs through my PC (I have integrated Realtek audio)?
CD players are no big deal money-wise (doesn't need to be a new model), and most of them have too little resp. inaudible sound differences. However, there's two killer arguments for using a separate CD player rather than your computer: it's instant-on and has fast access times, and there's no background noise due to fans, hard drives, etc. So a big "yes" from my side.

I bought the aforementioned amplifier and Jamo Studio 80 bookshelf speakers (45W). I want to note that I didn't have a chance to listen to them beforehand.
The amp works great (the selector knobs on the front panel are loose, the rec selector is misaligned with the slide switch inside and the famous 12V axial lamps are burnt out, but other than that, all is well).

However, the problem is that the speakers lack bass. Medium and high frequencies are much better than on my previous speakers (which was to be expected), but the bass doesn't even come close (Logitech X-530 has a dedicated 25W subwoofer which I had turned up to 1/2). It could be a problem with me (maybe I got wrongly accustomed to music having that much bass?) or perhaps I shouldn't have expected so much from these speakers.

I just wanted to know if I should be worrying about this or not.

I have one of these amps (SU-V303). I purchased it a few years ago, in a sorry state but working; I wanted it for recording from online sources ( so I could hear what I was recording). It has proved to be much better than I anticipated, and well worth the £20 I paid for it.
