technics su-v9 - info?

Hi All,
I have the opportunity to purchase a technics su-v9 amp pretty cheap. I was wondering if anyone has any info about this amp? original price? has anyone ever heard or worked on 1?
There's a few posts online regarding this amp but nobody seems to have much info. I already own a v7, will the v9 be any better?

Thanks! will be interesting (if I get it) to see how it compares to the v7. The v7 is 80W PC, but uses pretty much the same circuitry.
