I am working on a Technics SU-Z45 amp which has a strange problem.
When I use one channel (using the balance to 100% left or right channel) the unit works ok,
However, a loud low-frequency oscillation appears when increasing volume and loading both channels (the balance pot is in the middle).
The two voltage amplifiers seem to be fine. I suspect the issue could be the main STK 2038 driver but before I start pulling it out and replacing it, I wanted to know if anybody experienced this before.
