Hello! I recently bought SL-QX-300 turntable. Only when at home i unpacked the unit i saw that one of the hinges has split in half (mplastic part). Dusk cover and small plastic holders on it are fine. I have many different hinges but non of them would fit. I found this: https://www.terapeak.com/worth/tech...-dust-cover-hinges-repair-parts/301723720502/ the hinge is the same except my model have also small legs on the metal part otpf the hinge unit. Maybe someone knows if its possible to split metal housing from the plastic part, since i only need plastic part is for the fix.

Here are the pictures. You can see from the pictures that the plastic part has split and it does not hold well dust cover in place anymore (because of the bigger gap). I have looked through ebay and could not locate exactly the same hinge - From the first link i posted (seems like i could take the plastic from that hinge, but it would require some drilling....).

The SL-QX300 is a pretty rare beast and is worth the effort to repair. Because of it's rarity and the unique design of the bottom half of the hinge, it's going to be difficult/impossible to find an exact replacement.
That being said, it looks as if the hinges you found can be modified in such a way that they will work while you continue to look for an exact replacement. In fact, it may not require any modification. What I'd suggest is that you buy a set of hinges like the ones you found and see whether the rectangular hole in the metal part of the hinge a: lines up with the round hole in your hinge and b: is of sufficient size to accept the screw that attaches the hinge to the turntable. If the answers to a and b are yes, you're good to go but if not, you can expand the rectangular hole to change its size and location using a rat tail file or a drill.
You'll be missing the little tabs but they only serve to keep the hinges from spinning out of position and the dustcover itself will prevent that when it's installed.

Looking through the internet i found this site: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2041006 if that hinge wont fit its possible to remove that plastic from the hinge and even replace with printed version.... so my best bet is to buy that hinge - see if its a direct fit (maybe wont fit because of that little chin) my seems to be smaller and thicker but the alternative seems to be a bit wider and smaller. If its that then i could try to get that plastic part out of the hinge itself. Looks to be 1:1
I spent some time checking the pictures and looks like models: SL-Q202, SL-QX200, SL-Q20, SL-Q30 and SL-Q303 uses the same hinges. This gives me more options but looks like all those models are not on popular side. Maybe some forum user reads this and he have models mentioned above for disassembly please contact me 
Hello! I have now replqced broken hinge... got it from broken SL-Q202. But now i have another problem... dont know why but now my dust cover does not sit fully closed...
Does this is the way how it should sit? When i had broken hinge on it was resting on a turntable but now it just hangs like that.
