I've never owned a proper telecaster, although I played one on a recording session back in 1998. Somehow, I will have built there Teles in the past year:
This baritone Thinline, with pink pearloid top binding, a WRHB in the bridge and a Mojo double-foil in the neck a Bigsby and a fine magenta sparkle finish:

this Buck Owens tribute, with a pair of Lindy Fralin P92's, a bigsby, tone chambered ash body double bound with compound binding up top & a jumbo flake finish:

and this one, which should be done in a few weeks:

it features a tone chambered, northern ash body, double binding and a belly cut, with a Lindy Fralin AlNiCo Pole Hum-cancelling soap bar in the neck, a Hum-cancelling Steel Pole soap bar in middle and a TV Jones TV Classic Soap Bar in the bridge with a red, jumbo flake finish. It has a Jazzmaster style vibrato, 5-way switching and will feature a B & G bender, as well.

Not a Telecaster, but certainly Telecaster adjacent is this 1981 Fender Bullet, which I did to test the viability of a multicolored sparkle finish. Most who do glitter finishes, typically spray a silver base coat and spray small flake silver glitter, which is mixed in with clear coat, over it. I take a different approach: I spray the under coat the same color as the top coat, then hand apply flake, burnishing it into the adhesive to make it lay flat, then bury it first in a heavy solids clear, level sand and clear coat with a high-gloss poly. It is very labor intensive, but I think the results are pretty stunning.
