telefunken s300d TT info and or manual pls

Hi all,

I'm a new owner of a Telefunken S300D turntable and can't seem to find any information about it. I'd like to service it and am looking for a new stylus but am not sure where to start. Hopefully someone here will have some information.

What I know is that it was made in Japan for the Canadian market for Sound Equipment Manufacturers Ltd under the Telefunken brand. The build quality is excellent from what I can tell. It's heavy as can be.Build date is 17 September 1977.

nice find. The replacement stylus is based off of which cartridge is installed on the table. Look underneath the head shell and see what it is.

type the brand and model number of the cartridge into gooogle or ebay +"stylus" and I'm sure youll find plenty of options

Just had a local guy service this TT, figured without a manual, better in the hands of an expert Interesting thing is he says the guts are very similar to a Toshiba...
