telefunken tr 1500

Does anyone have any info,manuals,specs on this receiver. There is one at a local pawn shop. These receivers are related to the project/one receivers .Rated at 150 w/c & 55lb its on par in size to my pioneer 1250. I was thinking these were made by pioneer, the receiver was made in japan in 1980/81.

Pioneer didn't make very many private label products, mainly for Craig and Allied. This Telefunken model was a mainly sold in Canada. You may have to see if the schematics or service information is in a repository of Canadian Radio and TV schematics of some kind.

Was wondering if you ever located service manual or schematic on this unit? I have one trying to repair, burnt components...Thanks for any help

It would be nice if one was available, though it appears they are as rare as unicorns. I believe the same unit as the Project One 1500, which there is not a manual for either. The Telefunken 1200 is on HiFi engine, and a few other Telefunken manuals, perhaps they might yield a clue. If you get any leads please post here what you found and where you got it.
