Telefunken TS 860 vs. Sony PS-212 SH.

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for some opinions and advice regarding a potential turntable change.
Currently, I own a Telefunken TS 860. It's fully functional and complete, and I've personally serviced it (cleaned, lubricated, etc.), so it's in great shape.
I've come across a Sony PS-212 SH that's available for a relatively low price.
My main question is: From the perspective of general users and enthusiasts, would swapping my Telefunken TS 860 for the Sony PS-212 SH be considered an upgrade, or at least a worthwhile change?
I'd appreciate any thoughts on the build quality, sound characteristics, reliability, or overall user experience of both models, especially if you have experience with either or both.
Thanks in advance for your input!

I would keep the Telefunken TS 860.
The Sony PS-212 was an entry level TT. The auto-lift mechanism is very rough.
Not an "upgrade" over the Telefunken, in my opinion.

I would wait for a TT that is a definite upgrade. Save up your money and if you keep looking, you might snag a good deal on something really nice.
