There has been a terror attack last night in Strasbourg, which is 30 miles away from my hometown. The terrorist killed at least three people and hurt about 13, some are in serious condition.

The suspect is still on the run, most likely he crossed the border and is now in our region. These is distressing situation, espcially for my old mother.

I hope that I can give a positive update soon.

Stay safe! I have been watching this on the news. Apparently they know who the responsible individual is, but just not where he is at this time. Hopefully, they will find and apprehend him soon.

I know how disturbing this can be. My second residence (where I have been staying a lot lately) is in Pittsburgh--site of the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting that left 11 dead on 29 October, 2018--just a few weeks ago.

So sorry to hear of this news! Praying that you and yours will be safe from harm, now and always.

Thank you for your comforting comments, you community, they are very helpful.

They did not capture him yet, there is a continueing massive man hunt, with 600 French officers and many German officers who are working all together.

It is reported that the individual is very dangerous. It feels better to stay at home now for the rest of the day.

Thank you, Celt.

Hopefully You have a way to defend yourself at home ( if needed ) just keep alert and don't allow Normalcy Bias to make you a vulnerable target, we human beings tend to not believe what's happening when tragic events or other people's acts of evil against us are actually happening then we hesitate and become victims.....this is when
" Normalcy Bias " occurs ..
Just be vigilant and proactive about your own safety and don't expose your self.

Hopefully this terrorist bleeds out from his wounds or the Police find him soon.

(article 42.7 of the Lisbon treaty), which states: “If a Member State is the victim of armed aggression on its territory, the other Member States shall have towards it an obligation of aid and assistance by all the means in their power.” Lets roll.
