With the addition of a Niles DPS-1 I can now test system against system on the same song and same speakers. Here’s Quad 33/303 vs McIntosh C28/SAE 2500.

Input: Amazon Echo via tube buffer with NOS RCA tubes

Output: Millersound Ohm F’s

Very nice quad pieces. Don't see them around here too often. I wouldn't mind a vintage Quad system for our spare/guest room.
I listen to a lot of local fm radio so I'd like to get their FM4 tuner for my main system. It was one of the most musical tuners I've heard.

I have to say I’m a fan of Quad now. They are picky with speakers but with the Ohm’s they really sing. I would say they are better for smaller rooms and prefer classical over rock....but for some reason they play LL Cool J’s “Going back to Cali” flawlessly:)
