I stopped by the thrift this morning but nothing new was there but for some reason I went back to same thrift tonight and scored big time.

Led Zeppelin-In thru the out Door
Dicky Betts & Great Southern
Derringer-Derringer
Robin Trower- Long Misty Days
Jethro Tull-This Was
Jethro Tull-Stormwatch
Styx-Pieces of Eight
Rod Stewart-A night on the Town
Deep Purple-When we Rock.......
Uriah Heep-High and Mighty
Lynyrd Skynyrd-First and Last
Stephen Still-Illegal Stills
Bachman Turner Overdrive-Freeways
John Cougar Melencamp-Uh-huh
Bad Company-Straight Shooter
Steve Miller-Fly like an Eagle
Black Sabbath-Never Say Die
Jackson Browne -Saturate before Using

Most LP's are in excellent shape.
Most of the covers are in great condition while others covers showing a little wear.
The Zeppelin even still has the brown paper sack over cover so it is especially nice!

Picked up another today that is in near mint condition , Randy Meisner (one of the founding Eagles) One More Song.

On the back it says:
For Promotion Only, Ownership reserved by CBS. Sale is Unlawful.

I also have several others that say the same thing on back of LP.
Anyone know what this is about?

Radio stations and record stores would get those albums for promotion and so they were marked. It is often said being first or better pressing that they tend to sound better.

Nice going. There's something to be said about that strategy; checking the same store twice in the same day. I remember checking one of my favorite nearby thrift stores in the morning and nothing had changed since I was there last. Later that afternoon I decided I wanted to go back and grab a classical LP that I had seen. Well, when I returned there was a Taj Mahal double LP, a Duke Ellington, and a few other jazz LP's that I grabbed which weren't there earlier in the morning.

I will have to keep an eye out for those and even maybe try and flip the ones that do not appeal to me. :thmbsp:
