If something sounds to good to be true... sometimes it's just good and true!
thanhdang63 offered up some free gear to local Akers. So I responded. It's like Christmas over here!
I picked up for myself and friend a ...
Harman Kardon 330C receiver
Carver C-2 pre
Carver M-200T amplifier
Two nice ELAC Miracord 10H
...and for another AKer a...
Harman Kardon CD491
Pioneer Elite SP-99D processor
...the HK 330C may go to this member too.
I also had the pleasure to listen to Thanh's current system. It made my heart sink. Made me realize my system was mediocre in comparison. It consists of a Logitech Transporter SE, Yamaha B-1 and Yamaha NS-2000. The music was fantastic! The Yamahas, especially the NS-2000s, blew me away.
Thanh is both gracious and generous. He wouldn't take any money, so I'm glad I took over some Kona Coffee, Mandarin Oranges and a Edamame Snack. I'm returning the good karma to AK and will let Grumpy know.
Thanks Thanh!
