Thanks for pressing input!

Good going and since your are going to all the trouble of putting out a great record please dont forget to use a polylined inner sleeve to protect your little gem not that hard scratching cardboard that marks the record everytime you take it out of the cover.

I'll be looking forward to this one - definitely a pre-order for me! Best of luck with the album sales!

Best wishes on your new release Mr. Fold's . Maybe my son will get to interview you again sometime down the road. Wishing you the best in your adventures.

Congrats on the new record Ben, and I'm looking forward to buying it when it hits the stores (we have some really good record stores in Madison.)

And WTG on preserving dynamics...you are da man!

BTW...any Hammond on the new record? :D

Ben,

I'll be honest and say I'm not familiar with your music but I can't think of a better way to get to know it. I can't remember the last time I was this excited about a new release and I'm quite looking forward to yours.

Do let us know when that will be (preferably through an update to this thread, including a link to order through your web page) so that we can be sure obtain the earliest pressings when they are made available.

Thank you,

Glenn

Ben I think you made some very very good decisions!!! I am extremely excited to hear your new release:yes: I will say that I think 180 gram is over rated anyhow, some of the best records I've heard are Deutsche Grammophon Classical's that are only 120 grams. Make sure and give us some heads up on the preorder, I for one would be appreciative.

Assuming that Bob Ludwig is involved with this pressing, I can't wait to see "RL" etched into the deadwax one more time. This album will sound great! Congrats Ben.

Nice work Ben

I have 5 of your other albums on vinyl, and they all sound great.

Have you always tried to record your albums with dynamics and as little compression as possible? Hopefully in analog as well

cheers

Great news. Sounds like this is going to be a great project, and I'm looking forward to it. From a fellow native Tarheel, don't be a stranger!

Wow! This is great. When does the album come out?

WIKIPEDIA is your friend:

Folds' newest album, a collaboration with English author Nick Hornby,
is entitled Lonely Avenue and will be released on September 28, 2010.
On June 14, Folds released the official album art via his Twitter account.

"From Above", the first single from the album, was premiered on Richard Kingsmill's new music show '2010' on triple j in Australia on Sunday July 18.
