Thanksgiving music--what's your tradition?

[Cask05]

We have lots of Christmas music, even Independence Day and Easter music. But Thanksgiving music lists are somewhat a rare thing. What do you use?

I use Aaron Copland's Appalachian Spring to lead off the playlist. It seems appropriate for the season. Others include Vivaldi's The Four Seasons (Le Quattro Stagioni) and Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 "From the New World", among others.

Yours?

Happy Thanksgiving!

That's on my playlist, too (i.e., from Winston's December album), along with Autumn...

Well first up I have playing now Musica Antiqua Praha/Pavel Klikar - Baroque Music From The Kroměříž Archives, Supraphon 11 1416-2 931. This one is a Thanksgiving/Christmas staple.
