The 1219 is up and running

A few weeks back I started a thread about picking up a Dual 1219. I needed a bit of help (and got it) for a few things about Duals and turntables in general. The Dual I bought from Germany had a 5 DIN plug which luckily I was able to find an adaptor that converted it into RCA cables and a ground.

So my current setup is:

Dual 1219 with a Shure M91 MG-D cartridge
Pioneer SX-450 receiver
Canton Chrono 502 speakers

I forgot how good vinyl can sound. I appreciate the help. One more question though...

When I first turn on the receiver I get a substantial flutter from the left speaker. It slowly goes away and after a minute or two I can't hear it. If start the turntable while the flutter is still present it stops immediately. It doesn't seem to affect speaker sound but it's been bothering me. Any thoughts?

Sounds like it could be something in the power supply circuit. Try asking your question in the Pioneer forum. Lots of knowledgeable folks there.
