Intro on me (copied)
Little about me...
I appreciate good audio, yet im snobby if it isnt up to par. I am a young college student so I dont have space or money for a big audio system, but I have been around the block with some consumer level stuff and am now moving up to better and better.
I have worked in high end audio rooms, and was free to play with any audio system I wanted while there
to the tune of Stienway lyngdorf model D's, LS, C, S,and the forsaken ground woofers (they were that good) as well as the processors and head unit.
Sonus Fabers speakers, McIntosh full systems, and the list goes on.
So I have heard pretty great audio, and I know what I like, So over time I try to accomodate my dream system in time to buy my own house and have my perfect system....
I have been in headphone audio for awhile lately, but stumbled upon a gem on the good ole CL yesterday. A 30$ yamaha RX777 in immaculate condition. I know this isn't an off the wall amplifier, but to find one for 30$ is a good deal by any means any day of the week. Paired with some cheapy Onkyos (skf100) this amp can bring out the best in them even though they are sub par.and I know this amp can push such better speakers, but when I find another CL deal on some great speakers I'll jump on them too.
