That tt is awesome! :thmbsp: It even has a brush on the pick up are for record cleaning.

Now thats what i call a FULL AUTOMATIC. Thanks for sharing that video, that tt is a work of art.
 
And back in that era it was among the most expensive turntables you could buy. It was over $400 new sans cartridge. Ingjerd loves them and has several she's restored to like new condition. The best performing record changer ever made when in top condition. Also, very gentle to one's vinyl.

Thorens initially made music boxes and clock movements. I am sure they way this works is not unsimilar to the mechanical movement of a clock. I too would love to have one of these someday. I have seen other videos of how it works but by far this is the best one I have seen.
