Having registered as a subscriber has been well worth it for me.

However, I believe that non-subscribers cannot see the subscriber-only forums and that they therefore are largely unaware of the existence of these forums and what they are missing. Therefore, it might encourage subscriptions if we list somewhere - for example, in this thread - the forums that are accessible exclusively to subscribing members.

Yeah the extra forums are really nice and to be quite honest I had no idea they were there until I subscribed. I generally don't buy a lot of gear but I've got to think barter town would be a hit for anyone who likes to test drive stuff. For a couple bucks a month it's a no-brainer.
