Who has seen the episode (third or fourth episode of second series I think) where the guys pour a corn-flour / water mix into the cone of an upturned speaker, to investigate non-Newtonian fluid behaviour?

Have you tried it in your own home?

Never seen that, but my friends and I have had plenty of fun playing with non-newtonian fluids. Make a bowl of it an punch it real hard for some fun.

Hmm, come to think of it, it seems like the future of bulletproof clothing probably lies in some kind of engineered non-newtonian fluids, theyre almost perfect for the application...

... sorry, just a little rambling. Now, back to soggy, cornmeal-covered speakers

I still have that episode on my Tivo!! Never tried it though.......I need to find some cheap speakers!

That show may kill me.....I can imagine laughing so hard sometimes that I can't breathe and that is probably not so good for a fat 51 yearold with high blood pressure..

BUT I love it Best sitcom in a billion light years
