The cable wiring question...

With age I'm becoming maybe too...anal, but since recapping with better/modern stuff is now recommended or, at least, acceptable, now I wonder if anybody tried to upgrade the internal cabling with something new, larger AWG, maybe silver or silver plated...

I'm thinking at least about the cable connecting the phono board to the RCA out.

I own a 2265 as per my avatar, but I suppose my question is relevant to most old (and maybe not old only) stuff in our systems, not specifically Marantz...

Will the effort give some results or will be just a waste of time?

Any opinion or suggestion?

Do it and give us your feedback.

I would upgrade the amp to relay to speaker output, wires if its a 2325 or bigger. The stock wires are pretty wimpy. I use old neon light fixture wire for that.
