The Denon PMA-1080r is my new obsession

Picked this up on a lark while buying some speakers and sweet mother of mary does this thing play above its (literal) weight!

Spent today driving my ADS L810s and Sony SS-TL5. At about 25 percent on either pair I'm heading for the exits and my neighbors are giving me looks. Considering what it usually takes to drive the TL5s, that's bananas.

The phono input is excellent, it's got two zones, class A optical, a great loudness mode, it's relatively small and light, and it has a remote!

Just a heads up to those out there that might mistake it for BPC: it ain't!

Absolutely crushed my Marantz 500 monos in a side by side, even though it's rated at an (obviously conservative) 105wpc.

Denon's make incredible good amps. I have a PMA-757 (80W / 8ohms)

Nice Denon. I have a PMA-860 and love it to death as well. I like Denons because prices have not inflated quite as much as the more sought after brands, yet they are great quality amps.
