The Klipsch Conundrum

So,I was using RP600ms for my fronts on my surround system matched with a RC7 center,2 KSW12s and 2 SB3s in the rear.
Sounds excellent as the 600s were directed at me in a narrow room(12x20).
I wanted to change things up so I changed the 600ms to Heresey 1s.
The difference in filling the room and vocals on my concert blurays were night and day.
Let me add I have the Eagles Farewell Tour from Melbourne playing which I think is the most well produced concert I have ever heard, kudos to the engineers.
The problem is my 600ms did better on low mids(bass guitar) than the Hereseys, although Hereseys still sounded excellent in reproducing this but not as well.
The question I have is would I want to change out my 12s to 10s to get more of a tighter punch.
I was a roadie for 20 years so I get alot of the technical stuff going on.I was a light tech and NOT a soundtech but learned alot along my journey.
I listen to more concert than movies on my system.
Any help would be appreciated.

5 H1s would be a world class 5.1 system

5.2 even better if the subs are tight
I would ditch the down fire, and go front fire
I believe Parts Express has some very respectable ones
Kits too,
Powered 15 in should give Top Gun chest pounding excellent carrier take offs

I have the Heresys for it, but don't have the room or I would have done it.

Test 5H1s + 2x15 front PE
then sell off the old gear to pay for it.

I think your figuring I have disposable cash.

Claude should be able to suggest a mod for your Heresy 1s that wont break the bank. I believe he has some curves for different woofers that will work with the Heresy at different price points.s. I have modded my Heresy 1s and the difference in bass response was night and day. The combo of new woofer with the port is a synergy that definitely pleased my ears! I believe Claude may have called the Super Heresy's a baby Cornwall.

I did call it a BaBy Cornwall since it got 30 Hz. in my room at the time! 10 years ago. You just can't do anything without SOME money. Get real y'all.

What frequency are your KSW12 crossed over at? Was wondering if they're is any opportunity to decrease the frequency. For that matter, have you tried decreasing the volume output of the KSW12s?

Have you tried placement adjustments?

Yeah,I just didn't have cash for new speakers, modding them would be good.
How would I go about that?

It's actually a 7.1 with the sb3s on both my surround and rear surrounds
What is their serial #? Include the Letter (most important).
129W135 on one
The other is missing
