The Luxman M-4000 - An Absolute Unit!

Beautiful! Do you have the operators manual? Which preamp do. you use?
Thanks, Brian
Hi, I have the service manual and a few of the brochures. I don't think I have the owners manual but I can check.
I recently sold the M-4000, so it's going to a new owner after I restore it.

Inspirational!

Just bought an M-300 from Philly to get that Class A sound. Should be shipped shortly. It matches my Luxman CL38uC cosmetically, both have the wood cabinets.

And yes, many of the export Luxman of the era had internal switches to change between 120V and 220/240V. You just have to pull the cover, move the switch, and swap the input fuses to the correct amperage.

Here's the export version (A-model) of the M-300's transformer.
