The Mark VI, 4VF46 Series

I am going to look at this console tomorrow:

RCA Victor New Vista High Fidelity Stereo "Victrola" Phonograph with FM-AM and FM Stereo Radio
The Mark VI, 4VF46 Series

Comes with an extra needle for phonograph. Needs one tube replaced.

The gentleman wants $50 for the console, so the price is reasonable. What are your opinions on the record changer, the amplifier section and what should I expect for speakers?

I probably would not gut this console; I like consoles as they are. Opinions/what to look for, please.

A quick search online came up with two '64 models... 4VF464, which uses the nice little RS-177 amp, and the 4VE046, which uses the RS-203 (AC/DC tubes - NON-ISOLATED...DANGER!)

"Needs a tube" could mean anything... but it probably needs more than that (old tubes are usually good, old capacitors are usually bad...)
