The new "Brett's Living Room" thread.

Wonderful set up and history of how you got there. What speaker stands are you using with the focals? How high off the ground are they? And lastly, I am local to spearit sound and have found dealing with them to be straightforward and helpful as well. Nice set up. Norm

Thanks for the kind words about they system. I'm glad you've enjoyed dealing w/Spearit as well. We are blessed to have them in the area.

I built the stands myself (I couldn't see spending $300+ for the actual Focals). Here's the thread for that project.

I built them to match the Focal stand dimensions. They are 24" stands which puts the center of the tweets at 40". The loaner speakers I had for a week were mounted to stands, so I took pictures and measurements. (I ended up making my posts thicker.)

Looking great, Brett!

Did you post about the Focal Chorus speakers anywhere by chance?

You have an ear I respect- would love to hear what you think of them.

Yep. I'm curious about your Focals too. Have you finished your honeymoon with them yet? Have your opinions changed? BTW, you have beautiful equipment. That Shanglin is fantastic!!
